Loose fit.
Pants are indeed "generous fit". I would !not! recommend sizing up, just get your usual size. I bought size bigger just because my size was not available and thought that the size 30 will be more relaxed fit (which is correct). I have smaller waist so i have to tighten these up as much possible and they are still bit on the loose side (not a bad thing tho'). Big bonus is the knees, they are really spacious so knee braces(i use X-Frame hybrids) fit nicely!
My S/O also tried this set on, xs/30 and he's 180cm and weights aroung 75-80kg. The set fitted and technically could ride wearing it, but for him it was tight fit and there was no need for tightening up the waist from sides. Ratchet went on just few "clicks". Not much space in the crotch area. Normally he wears size 32.
Pants are good material that is on the thicker side, feels durable!

I’ve had over 50 sets of FXR gear and never had a pant fit like this or other years of the podium line. Love the color way but absolutely can not use these pants. It’s like they were designed for Kim Kardashian. The back of the pants are massive!! Who did you design these pants for?? I could fit a whole other rear end in these pants and they would still be loose. Really hoping FXR went back to the previous fit in the new lines. Hopefully someone in my riding group with a massive rear end can use these pants. I’m sad because the gear set looks so good.
